Hermes 80th Anniversary
The theme of the display was based on Hermes 80th anniversary where I wanted to showcase the handmade silk screening process behind every Hermes scarfs. It is also to emphasis that the scarfs are made completely strokes and section by section. I also chose to display the motifs of the first Hermes scarf that was designed in the 1937 as it showed the origins of the scarfs and had more value to the display. The backdropped shows the key steps of the process of silkscreening, everything else in the display is black and white except for the scarfs as it was suppose to be the focus of the display and it will draw better attention to consumers that that is the product we are showcasing. In addition, the ceiling and floor panels are made of laser cut horses decal with mirrors background to give viewers an impression of an extended space, making the window look bigger than it actually is.
